About Dr. Rakhil Rubinova, DO

My degree in clinical nutrition allows me to understand the endocrine system and hormone interactions as they relate to diet and lifestyle. This play an important role in maintaining overall health.

My thirst for knowledge and understanding interactions led me medical school. I completed my Internal medicine training and subsequently Endocrine fellowship to quench this thirst in understanding intricacies in human health and hormone function.

I enjoy taking on the challenge of managing hormone interactions and the disease processes associated with them. I treat patients with endocrine disorders such as diabetes, obesity, hypercholesterinemia, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, metabolic bone disease, adrenal disorders, female and male gonadal health and more. My practice has a special focus on treatment of diabetes and related complications and metabolic bone disease related to cancer treatment, malabsorption disorders, fragility fractures, and parathyroid disease. I am dually board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology and metabolic Medicine. I am proficient in interpreting and using all advanced diabetes technology such as insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitors as well as reading and understanding bone density scans. I have excellent listening and communication skills and I’m always interested in my patients’ wellbeing. Being well-rounded, thorough, and kind, I realize that improvement in health requires education—both for physicians and patients. My mantra is to empower my patients through education and reinforcement with knowledge about their disease process. Knowledge combined with patients desire to improve will facilitate the healing and enhancement in health. I value continuing education hence I am a member of many national organizations such as American Society of Bone Mineral Research, the Endocrine Society, American College of Physicians, American Academy of Clinical Endocrinologists, and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry.
